    Note: Neither Ancestral Roots, CP, or MCS mention a second marriage for Margaret, but Roger's death in 1288 would certainly allow for a 2nd marriage.

Order to deliver to Margaret, late the wife of Roger de Coleville, tenant in chief of the king as of the honour of Albemarle, the following of Roger's lands, which the king has assigned to her in dower: the manor of Conythorp, a member of the manor of Bitham, the wood called ' Morkelawe,' with the meadow, herbage and all appurtenances, in the same manor, the wood called ' La More,' with the meadow, herbage and all other appurtenances, in the same manor and rent in Estbitham, which is a member of the manor aforesaid. Total value of land yearly assigned approx 70/.

    24 May 1290 Westminster. Assignment of dower to Margaret, late the wife of Roger de Colevill, of the knights' fees that belonged to Roger by Master Henry de Bray, escheator this side Trent, by the king's writ. There are assigned to her three quarters of a fee that Ralph de Sancto Laudo holds in Cunesby, co. Lincoln. Also the eighth of a fee that Robert Walran holds in Estbitham, in the said county. Also a fee that Laurence de Preston holds in Somerdeby, in the said county.

    12 May 1335. Order to William de Clapham, escheator in the counties of York, Northumberland, Cumberland and Westmoreland, to take into the king's hand the lands late of Margaret late the wife of Roger de Colville, deceased, tenant in chief.

    SIR RICHARD DE BREUSE, a younger son of John de Breuse, Lord of Bramber and Gower, by Margaret, daughter of Llewelyn ap lorwerth, PRINCE OF NORTH WALES, born 1232. He was summoned cum equis et armis 12 December 1276 to 14 June 1287, and to attend the King at Shrewsbury, 28 June 1283, by writs directed Ricardo de Brehuse or Breuse.

    He married, before 9 September 1265 Alice, widow of Richard LUNGESPEYE (who died s.p. shortly before 27 Dec. 1261, and daughter and heir of William LE Rus, of Stinton, Norfolk, Akenham and Whittingham, Suffolk, by Agatha. daughter and heir of Roger DE CLERE, of Bramley, Surrey, and Ludborough, co. Lincoln. She was born 25 December 1245 or 1247, or 1 January 1245/6. He died before 18 June 1292 (i). His widow died shortly before 28 January 1300/1. They were buried in Woodbridge Priory. Alianore. He was summoned cum equis et armis 12 Mar 1300/1. Blomefield erroneously assigns to the elder Richard the Inq.p.m. on his nephew Richard, for which see p. 308, note "d".
