  • Notes
    • William served in war of 1812. He died intestate in 1925.

William Gullage and Willam Carney bought land together in Robertson County, Tennessee (30 miles north of Nashville). William's home was on a "Perimeter Ridge" just out of Cub Creek Bottom, something like 3/4ths of a mile south of John Taylor and Janie Quinn's home. There is still signs of the old home and chimney. Willliam, Sarah (his wife), William Carroll and his wife (Frances Dowdy Gulledge) are buried in a family grave with 20 graves in it, marked with sandstone markers still standing, near the property on a high bluff right near a "bridge". Just 1/3 mile south of this graveyard is another, where James Gulledge and his wife Visa Gibson Gulledge are buried with granite headstones.
