      (2a) 1506, 6 Jun: George BRADBURY, Citizen and mercer of London, wrote his will. His will, "as to the disposicion of all my lands and tenements with their appurtenances within the Citie of London and the subbarbys od the same and of all my lands and tenements in the towne of Ware in the Countie of Hartford and of all my lands and tenements in Lambourne in the Countie of Essex, First, I will that all my feoffes beying feoffed to my use of my londs tenements and gardyns lying in the Barbycan in the parishe of Seynt Gyle withoute Criplegate of London immediately after my decease make thereof astate unto Philipp JOSTLYN my sister wif of John JOSTLYN to have to her duryng her natural life And after her decesse the same londs tenements and gardeyns to remayn to Johanne HANNYS daughter of said Philipp to have to her and her heirs of her body lawfully begoten And for defawte of suche issue the remaynder thereof to the right heirs of the said Philipp for ever And as to all my londs and tenements lying in the parishe of Seynt Margarete in Lothbury of London I will that my feoffees therein enfeoffed to myn use immediately after my decesse thereof make astate wherein the therinto shalbe reasonably reqyred to Henry BRADBURY my broder to have to hym for terme of his lif And after his decesse the same londs and tenements in the said parishe of Seynt Margaret I will shall remain to the said Philipp for terme of her lif And after her decesse I will they shalbe remayn to the said Johanne HANNYS daughter of the saime Philipp to have to her and to her heirs of the body by the same Johanne lawfully begoten And for defawte of suche yssue the remaynder thereof to the right heirs of the saide Philipp for ever And as to my londs and tenements in Ware in the said Countie of Hartford I will that my feoffees therein immediately after my decesse make thereof astate unto the said Henry BRADBURY for the terme of his lif And after his decesse I will the said londs and tenements in Ware to remayn unto the said Philipp to have unter her for terme of her lif And after he decesse the remaynder thereof to the forsaid Johanne HANNYS and to the heirs of the body of the sameJohanne lawfully begoten And for defawte of suche yssue the remaynder thereof to the right heirs of the said Philipp for ever. Also I will that my feoffees to myne use in my londs and tenements in Lambourne in the said Countie of Essex immediately after my decease shall make astate therof to John LECHE gentilman to have to hym for terme of his lif And after his decesse I will that the said londs and tenements shall remayne to the foresaid Johanne HANNYS and to the heirs of the same Johanne lawfully begoten And for defawte of suche yssue the remaynder therof to the right heirs of the said Philipp for ever."
