  • Notes
    • BIOGRAPHY: Owned a farm in Highland Township later owned by the heirs of Wesley Freeman.

Thomas and son Charles served in the Revolutionary War, and were captured by the British during a cavalry skirmish in Bucks County, in January 1778.

From a journal entry by Charles, Thomas his father, was slashed by an English bayonet from throat to belly, and Charles loaded him into a wagon and drove him to a field hospital where Thomas died.

The English stopped Charles on the way and he tried not to cry so as not to let the English know Thomas was his father.
