!SOURCE:Lou Ann SMITH to Candi SEATON re- birth & death date & place. Also from
Juanita EWING.
!BIRTH:28 Jun 1876; Agie had dark brown eyes, thin build, about Juanita EVANS
EWING'S size & build. She wore her long gray hair up, sort of in a bun.
!MARRIAGE:1895 to David Alexander EVANS.
!DEATH:2 Jun 1937, McCaulley, Fisher Co., Texas. Died in house of Rossie, her
daughter. Another daughter, Ellie was also present, and so was Bertha PRITCHARD
EVANS. She had a painful death, screaming of pain. She had flu like symptoms,
aching all over. Juanita remembers her being deathly ill for about a day before
she died. See Death Certificate #31011, filed under name Aggie Emily EVANS.
Juanita EWING said that she was pregnant with Doyle EWING when Grandma died.
At the time of her death, Aggie & David were operating a Chicken Farm between
Hamlin & McCauley, TX.
!BURIAL:Swedonia Cemetery near Hamlin, Texas. Buried in Northwest Quadrant of
Cemetery. So, if you divide the cemetery into 4 quarters Aggie is buried in the
Northwest Quarter. As you come into the gate and you face east the graves are
almost midway down on the north edge directly west of the MESECK Plots. The
graves have plants on them. The only graves with plants on them. Four graves
occupy this plot, Lois' stillborn baby, Rossie's 2 girls that burned to death,
& Agnes "Aggie" PAGE. If necessary, a metal detector could distinguish the 3
children's graves from Mrs EVANS! Apparently no other graves are just west of
these 4 graves.
!Pages Lived in Melburne, Arkansas and farmed. See notes on David Evans!
