!BIRTH:7 Nov 1896, Oklahoma. He was about 5'6' tall, weighed about 170 lbs.
balding brown hair, gray in older years. His general stature was short.
!MARRIAGE:7 May 1916, McCaulley, Texas; Volume 2, Page 563, Marriage Records of
Fisher Co., Texas.
!DEATH:9 Jan 1963, Lubbock, Lubbock Co., Texas at West Texas Hospital. He went
in hospital with ruptured appendix, was operated on, the incision burst open,
and doctors operated a second time. A few days later he suffered a heart
attack, and a blood clot formed in his leg. Doctors amputated his leg. The day
of the amputation, he suffered a fatal heart attack and died.

!PERSONAL INFORMATION: He was said to have favored the Pages looks. His brother
Charlie said he always wanted to look like Horace. Horace went to West Texas
Hospital for routine appendectomy but died from complications and heart attack.
He was loved and adored by his grand kids. He was a Christian man who helped
his wife do chores around the house and farmed all of his life. He and Bertha
were a very special couple. He was medium build, short, but not heavy, he was
balding as he got older. He had a kind and mild mannered personality.
