Note: I think Bartholomew was born well before 1329 ("age 26+ at father's death"). His daughter was born in 1342 as indicated by AR & MCS.

BARONY OF BURGHERSH (IV, 2)
BARTHOLOMEW (BURGHERSH), LORD BURGHIERSH, 1st surviving son and heir, aged 26 and more at his father's death, having, with him, been present at the battle of Crecy in 1346. He was, in 1348, nominated K.G. as one of the 25 Original Knights of that most noble order. He accompanied Prince Edward (known in later times as the Black Prince) in nearly all his expeditions, fought at Poitiers 19 September 1356, and was one of the most distinguished warriors of the age. He also made a journey into the Holy Land.
He married, 1stly, before 10 May 1335, Cicely, daughter and heir of Richard of WEYLAND, of whose age proof was then made, having livery of her lands. She was living August 1354. He married, 2ndly, before August 1366, Margaret, widow of Henry PICHARD, citizen and vintner of London. He died 5 April 1369. Will dated the previous day, directing his burial to be at Walsingham. His widow married, 3rdly, as 1st wife, William BURCESTRE and died 1 July 1393. [Complete Peerage II:426-7, XIV:124, (transcribed by Dave Utzinger)]
