[Ancestral Roots] ----------------- Thomas West m. 2nd Eleanor (d. between 10 May and 14 Nov 1536), daughter of Sir Roger Copley, of Roughway, Sussex, and d. 11 Oct 1525, having had further issue. [Burke's Peerage, p. 793] ------------------ He [Thomas West] married, 2ndly, Eleanor, 3rd daughter of Sir Roger COPLEY, of Roughway, Sussex, by Anne, 2nd daughter and coheir of Thomas (Hoo), BARON HOO AND HASTINGS. He died 11 October 1525, and was buried at Broadwater, aged about 68. Will dated 8 October 1524 proved in the Catholic Church of St. Paul, London, 12 February 1525/6.
