  Katharine; married Michael de la Pole, 1st Earl of Suffolk, of the 1385 creation, by whom she was great-grandmother of John de la Pole, 2nd Duke of Suffolk, who married Elizabeth Plantagenet, sister of Edward IV and Richard III. [Burke's Peerage] --------------------------------------- He [Michael de la Pole] married, before 18 October 1361, Katherine, daughter and heir of Sir John WINGFIELD, of Wingfield, Suffolk, by Eleanor, daughter and heir of Gilbert (or Ralph) de Glanville. She, who was aged 26 and more in 1375, was living, 18 February 1378/9, and died before 1 October 1386, being buried in the Church of the Carthusians at Kingston-upon-Hull. M.I.
