  Sir Robert Tailboys (or Talboys), Knight, Lord Kyme, MP 1472, 1477-78, sheriff of Lincolnshire 1480, b. c 1451, d. 30 Jan 1494/5; m. Elizabeth, daughter of John Heron. There is no evidence that Elizabeth is daughter of Sir John Heron & his cousin Elizabeth Heron. [Ancestral Roots] -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------- BARONY OF KYME (VIII) 1472 SIR ROBERT TAILBOYS, of Kyme, son and heir, aged 40 at his mother's death in 1491. The attainder of his father was reversed in 1472, whereby his father's honours were restored to him, and he became dejure LORD KYME. M.P. for co. Lincoln, 1472 and January 1477/8. Sheriff of co. Lincoln, 1480. He married Elizabeth, daughter of Sir John HERON. He died 30 January 1494/5, and was buried in Kyme Priory.
