  Excerpt from 16 Aug 1932 text written by W.B. Russell age 82: "Grandma Sallie Carney had a sister, Pollie, whose posterity dead. She married a green. I remember visiting her. She lived on what is now known as the Pollie Green place, half a mile southeast of where Uncle John Rials and wife are buried (old Bismark Church). One daughter of John Carney married a Baugh, posterity lives in the counties of Smith, Simpson and Hines."
