Holbrook, father
of Sarah Holbrook Ponder. Jesse served in the Rev. War and his
pension file is
Number S31756. Jesse enlisted in the Rev. War in 1779 and
discharged ca 1781.
He was a private in the Virginia line and was placed on the pension
role in
Elbert Co, GA, in 1831. He lived in Franklin Co, GA until his death.
