West Harris,Sr. and West Harris, Jr. died in Montgomery County, North Carolina and both were buried there in (Salisbury District) I have found info on the Harris-Hunters that West Sr, was buried in Salisbury, North Carolina a town or city in Rowan County, North Carolina, and on Ancestry.com under Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots, Vol. 2 they have West Harris Sr and West Harris Jr. buried in the Old English Cemetary, Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina. Deborah made a note in THE FAMILY GROUP SHEET DATE 20 Apr.1998 HUSBAND HARRIS WEST stating that West Harris B. 13 Aug 1715 Isle of Wight Virginia USA d. 14 May 1795 Montgomery County, North Carolina USA REMARKS :" His grave was moved about 1926to the Old English Cemetery in Salisbury; the plot can be identified by the name Bruner. "He was moved because the area where
he was buried was to be flooded).
