- Known as "John Alderman the younger or II. Owned (?) a ship named
"Mary and John" which arrived in Nantucket 30 MAY 1630. Traded
between Plymouth, MA and Windsor, CN during 1633. Noted as "the
man who lost his way in Dorchester in 1634." Helped settle the new
city named Hartford, CN in 1635. Moved to Salem and became a town
officer in 1636. Moved with his church from Dorchester to
Windsor in NOV 1636. Wrote his will (mentioning brother Marshall)
on 5 MAR 1657.
