    • BIOGRAPHY: Occupation: Farmer in Hebron, Connecticut and Colchester and after 1772 at Williamsburgh Massachusetts, which was then a wilderness. In Williamsburgh he erected a two story frame house, and built a saw-mill and grist-mill. His house was burned and his mills carried off by a freshet. He was then drafted and served in the Revolutionary army in 1775. His farm was on one of the highest hills in the town and on the old homestead one generation after another of his descendants had lived and died . He married Temerance 3 days before her 15th birthday.
