Parents supplied by Merry Anne; maptfs, Nashville Tennessee (Ancestry Profile);
"From my research, Isaac E Morris was born ca 1800 in TN. His mother was Mary Elizabeth Earthman who married Andrew Morris 24 Dec 1799 in Davidson CO, TN. Her father was Isaac Earthman Jr born ca 1749 prob. Bucks Co, PA died in 1834 in Davidson Co, TN a Rev. War Soldier. His will names his daughter "Betsy's" children, but not by name. But court records indicate there were at least two, Isaac E whose widow was Calista Carney and Peter B. who married Nancy Marlin.Peter and Isaac owned property together and were involved in several cases of slave sales related to the Earthman will. When Isaac died, Peter sold his share of property jointly owned to his sister - in- law, Calista. Peter died in 1855 after serving the county for many years as a Justice of the Peace. He had 5 living children. I can only locate the son, Isaac Taylor Morris. I'm trying to locate the others. And would like to find Andrew Morris's parents."
