- Dennis received land, from his father's (Daniel) will, that lay in the portion of Stafford County VA, that later became Prince William Co, then later Fairfax Co. in 1732-4 he was a Vestryman of Truro Parish. in 1739, he bought 522 acres in Prince William Co, from John Minor. in 1740, he patented 1220 acres on Goose Creek in the name of his son Thaddeus (this son was very young at time).
Lineage to the Navy Fleet Vice Admiral of Devon under King James VI Sir Richard Hawkins II. Read Plymouth Armadas Heroes. Dennis mom's side (Elizabeth Pope).
