  Biography William Oliphant was born in 1379 in Aberdalgy, Perth, Scotland. He died in 1425 in Scotland. He married Isobel Stewart. Other marriages: Berwick-29 Murray, David 6th Laird of Tullibardine. They had the following children: Isabel Oliphant Sir John Oliphant Research Notes "Sir William Oliphant of Aberdalgie is the son of Sir John Oliphant of Aberdalgie. He married Marian de Berwick, daughter of Thomas de Berwick. In 1417 he was retoured heir. In 1424 he was sent to London as a hostage for the ransom of King James I and disappears from records thereafter in 1425.[1] Children Children of Sir William Oliphant of Aberdalgie and Marion (Berwick) Livingston.
