  Milton Raymond Hasse, 93, of Alpena, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021. He was a loving, caring, and compassionate man that will be dearly missed. He was born on February 23, 1928, to the late Fred and Augusta (Schueke) in Alpena. Milton worked for Besser company for 38 years until his retirement. On September 25, 1956, he married the love of his life Faye Thompson at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alpena. They remained married and raised their family for nearly 54 years until Faye preceded him in death in 2010. Milton enjoyed many things northern Michigan had to offer but those that brought him the most joy was putting puzzles together, fishing, spending time with family and devoting his time as an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He also cherished the time spent teaching his son how to fish. He is survived by his children, Larry (Julie) Hasse of Alpena, and Lori Skiba of Alpena, two grandchildren, Mitchell and Thomas Hasse, a great granddaughter Evelyn, and nephews Doug and Richard McKay. He was preceded in death by his wife Faye and all his siblings.
