Notes - Christening also given as 25 Oct 1594. Possibly the child christened in 1593 did not survive and the same name was given again. He was an original settler of Hartford, but removed to Saybrook before 1639. He was a freeman in 1658. In 1665 was on the committee to divide Saybrook (which created Lyme). Representative to General Court in 1670, 1672-76. Was a prominent citizen and large landholder of Lyme, CT.
His will was dated 13 May 1662 and inventory was taken 28 Oct 1662.
