      William Mackintosh, b. 1613, d. 22 Nov 1660 in Faillie, co. Inverness, Scotland, m. ca 1638? to Margaret Graham, William was the 18th chief of Mackintosh and 19th chief of Clan Chattan in 1624.[2]

      "John Dhu Macqueen of Pollochaig, generally called Iain Dhu vic Coul (son of Dougal) was a famous sportsman and excellent marksman. It is said that he was upon a friendly footing with all the witches, fairies, and warlocks of his day, but more especially those in his neighbourhood. He lived in the beginning of the 18th century, and had married Anne, sister of Laird Lachlan Mackintosh."[3]
