BIOGRAPHY: Transcripts of Wills of Devonshire, England (British film FHL #916870, vol. 4), p. 979 - Will of Johan Channon, dated 19 Nov 1616, lists her daughter Catherine Peaton's children as Tobias (no last name) and Sarah Jennings; Ibid, p. 982 - Will of Robert Channon lists Tobias Jennings as the son of his daughter Catherine; Sidmouth, England, Christening Extraction Print Out (British film FHL #0933232, item 9), p. 47 - lists Richard Jennings as the father of Tobias (chr. 25 Sep 1597) and Sarah (chr. 24 Dec 1598).
She married first Engelbert Lott who died in 1631 [aka Jeremy Lott]. She remarried Adam Lott (Mott) in Cambridge. She migrated with him to Massachusetts in 1635 on the Defense. Her daughter Mary by her first marriage arrived with her.
Will: from Wikitree....Portsmoth August ye 31th 1661[3] ...ffor as much as Sarah Mott widow to the late deceased adam mott of ye towne of portsmoth hath brought hir late husbands will in to ye office of to be proued and hath Exhibeted the same to the towne Counsill thay findinge the said will som thinge dewbeious i not desclaringe the said Sarah his wife to be his Excektrix yeet the scope of the same makine hir one in powar there fore we the Counsill of the towne of portsmoth doe vnanimusly apoint the said Sarah mott & widow to the late deseaced Adam mott to be sll Execetrix duringe the terme of hir life accordinge to whot we vndarstand the meaninge of ye will to be beinge the magior part of the Counsill.
