Notes - John (No middle name -- Commoners didn't have middle names back then. None of the Pilgrims did) Hopkins appears to have died around the end of August 1593 because his inventory was reported 04 September (corrected from 10 September) 1693. He didn't die 6 days after his inventory was reported. All this was published in 2007. Caleb Johnson's team's work is the source for Stephen Hopkins of Hampshire.
We don't have a clue who was to John's parents, as several people have invented.
04 Oct 1593 is the date that widow Elizabeth was appointed administrator of the estate in Winchester, Hampshire. We still don't know where/when she died. Reminder--she didn't die and wasn't buried under last name Williams as seen on many copied trees.
John was first married to Agnes BORROW or BORROWE on 28 Oct 1574 in Upper Clatford, Hampshire, England, and had two children, William and Alice (who didn't marry Gilbert and didn't die 1618 in Somerset). Nothing further for either William or Alice.
John married second Elizabeth Williams on 28 Jul 1579 in Upper Clatford, Hampshire, England and had two children, Susanna and Stephen. Nothing further for Susanna.
