Notes - Goochland DB 4, p.434-5. Susannah, wife of Thomas Poor Senr. relinquished her dower in a deed of gift of 200 acres to Thomas Poor Junr. & Elizabeth his wife.
Deposition given 21 Oct 1754 by Susannah Poor. Susannah stated that about twelve years prior to the date of the deposition she was at the home of John Mosely with her husband Thomas Poor, dec'd., their son Thomas and his wife Elizabeth and their grandaughter Mary Poor, an infant about two years of age. That at the time and occasion John Mosely gave his granddaughter Mary Poor, a slave named Rose.
