In 1851 she was married to Samuel D. Lindsay and four years ago the couple celebrated their golden wedding. Less than a week ago Mrs. Lindsay was stricken with pneumonia and her health, weakened by age was unable to withstand the attack and she gradually grew worse until the time of her death. Surviving her are her husband, one son, Homer J. Lindsay of the Carnegie Steel Company; two daughters, Mrs. John W. Williams of the East End and Mrs. William J. Sheridan of Sheridan; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Hershman and Mrs. George Abel, of the East End and two brothers, Rev. J. L. Buhoup of Emporia, Kan and Henry C. Buhoup of Chicago.
