  Emma Catharina is the daughter of Edmond Blount and Judith Blount (Rhodes). Edmond's :parents (Catherina's grandparents) are reported to have been James Blount, Sr. :& Bridgett Blount of Astley (Broome). They were from Worcestershire, England. She may have come from a northern :colony & migrated to a Quaker site in North Carolina. [citation needed] Catharina was born in England. This could possibly have Gabriel being born in England :& leaving for Ireland with his wife Catharina. [citation needed] The record shows him as being born in Ireland along with a possible brother John :that is known to have been born in England. The brothers then marry the Blount :sisters. Catharina & Gabriel. There is no record having the two families immigration (like :the name of the ships).
