MAYNARD (dec.) £10 each as they came to 16 years of age; to the children of son Thomas (dec.) £10 apeace, as they come to age 18 years of age, as also to the four youngest of them an additional legacy; to his grand child Simon EYRE £6 per annum until he came to age 18 years to help him to learning in the tongues, &c. to daughter Elizabeth FERNSIDE, wife of John FERNSIDE, a resident dev. to be divided between her three children. To daughter Hannah, if she weds, come to New England, such a piece of plate, but all his debts in Old England and £50 out of his rents in Ashford, or as he spelt it, "Eshitisford," to son Confort, and his heirs, the house and lands at Ashford; and to daughter Elizabeth the land on which her present dwelling house is built, from the highway back to the mill pond, and to his daughter-in-law, widower of Thomas.
