  Traguilla was a slave and the lover and secret husband of Amalsuntha,daughter of Theodoric the Great, King of the Ostrogoths. When her mother,Queen Audofleda, a sister of Clovis, found them together, Traguilla waskilled and Amalasuntha given a good beating. She later married Eutharicand had a son that became king the Ostrogoths.
