  Cause of Death: Consumption or Tuberculosis REFN: 45 Newspaper - East G ranby dated June 12, 1914 "Mrs. Anna Bradley, wife of John Corey, died at her home after a long illness of consumption, Mrs. Corey was 34 years old and was a daughter of Mrs. Aunce Dibble and granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J oseph Viets. About seventeen years ago she married to John Corey. Besides h er husband, she leaves three son, William, who is in Simsbury high school, Leroy and Clarence. The funeral was held from her late home Thursday afterno on, Rev. F. B. Makepeace conducting the services. The bearers were W. W. Vie ts, Hartley Viets, Jasper Bidwell and Frank Granger. The burial was in Granb y" Newspaper - Dated June 12, 1914 "Mrs. John Corey, died at her home near Gr anby Station, Monday morning about 4 o'clock after a long illness. Mrs Corey spent some time in the Cedar Hill Sanatorium a few years ago, and came home very much improved in health. The disease from which she first suffered show ed again and for the last few weeks before her death, her decline had been ra pid and the death came not unexpectedly. The funeral was held at her home Thursday morning at 11 o'clock and the service was conducted by Rev. F. B. Ma kepeace, pastor of the South Church of Granby. The burial was in Granby ceme tery. Mrs. Corey is survived by her husband and three sons William, Roy and Clarence Corey. Mrs. Corey had lived in the house near Granby depot and all who came in contact with her speak in the highest terms of her as a woman, mo ther and neighbor."
