He is the son of Nathan Roberts and Hannah Logsdon. 1830 MO census puts him at right age 40-49 along with wife 40-49. 1 M 5-9, 2 M 10-14, 1 M 15-19. 1 F 5-9 age. 1840 KY census puts him at right age 60-70 with wife and no more children. Born in Rowan North Carolina in about 1777 as evidenced by avg dates of the Census of 1810, 1820, 1830 and where he fit into his parents lineage of births with brothers and sisters. Brother Edward was born in 1776 and the last son William in 1780 so the range can only be 1777-1779.
