James was born about 1770. He passed away in 1839.[1]
James was the son of Peter Hart and Sally Dority "Dollie" Cantor.
In 1789 James first married Rebecca Graves and they had children.[2] These children were John Graves Hart b:1790, Polley Hart b:1791, James Hart b:1796 and finally Martha Ann Hart b:1797.
There then followed a gap of 6 years, and the second wife James married was Elizabeth Tailor in 1803 and they had children. Those children were Rebecca Hart b:1804, Pleasant Hart b:1805, Elizabeth Hart b:1808, Maurice S. Hart b:1812, and finally Nancy Hart b:1812. You will find these children mentioned in his will of 1839. [3]
