    Born in Chicago and moved to Alpena when 16, where he worked in family business - Bakery. Lived in Alpena, Mi after marriage 1953 - 1959. Moved to Aneheim, CA for 6 months in 1959, then to Tucson, AZ from 1959 - 1962, where they had a bakery. Moved to Santa Ana, CA from 1962-1964 , and then to Phoenix, AZ in 1964-1969, in Maryvale area. Then moved back to Alpena from 1969-1971 to help Paul and Clara with their bakery. Moved back to Phoenix in 1971 and subsequently moved to Mesa, AZ area since, where Joyce and Bill had a bakery (Yum-Yum Tree Bakery) for several years. Sold bakery, retired and worked as security guard for a time, until caring for wife Joyce, who had advanced Parkinson's became a full time task. Died of heart attack 3 days prior to 76th birthday.

    Born June 27, 1930 in Chicago, IL; son of Paul and Clara Elsie Stark Wehofer.

    Retired from Flowers Baking Company, veteran of the U.S. Army ? Korean War, member of the V.F.W. and volunteered at the Spartanburg Soup Kitchen.

    Survivors include his daughter, Diana Boswell (Eric) of Shelby, NC; Wayne Wehofer, Jr. (Robin) of Spartanburg, SC; Kurt Wehofer (Marie) of Boiling Springs, SC; daughter-in-law, Robin Wehofer of Woodstock, GA; four granddaughters, Jessica, Erica, Shelby, and Faith; two great grandsons; sister, Audrey and brother, Dwight; beloved dog, Paco; and special friend of the family, Sandy Abbott-Powell.

    Predeceased in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbaranne Sweet Wehofer; son, Carl Edwin Wehofer (1961-2013).

    Erin grew up Colorado Springs, moved to Cleveland in her late high school days to live with her biological mother. Here, she graduated from Norwalk High and she later met Dan Vinson. She and Dan had 2 children, Nate and Kayla. After breaking up with Dan she later met and married Tom Canitia and had Adriana and that relationship also ended after a few years.

    Erin went to college late in life and held degrees in business and accounting graduating in 2014. Erin died in December 2022 at age 43 after a lengthy struggle with failing kidneys from her alcohol demons she was constantly trying to shake off. Her dad Arnie and Kay were with her when she passed.
