  Ref; Moved to Dutchess Co. New York about 1777,. He was a Colonel in the Revolution and was taken prisoner. He was confined in the "Old Sugar House" prison for many months and his letters to Governor George Clinton are preserved in Albany. Member of the New York Legislature, after the War.
