As I type these I see that I neglected to record the Deed Book Letters
to go with the page numbers! (Ooops!) Well, Book B covered 1775 through
part of 1783. Presumably Book A then covered 1771-1782.
[note: Chatham County was formed in 1770 from Orange County].
