  Biography Maria was born in 1826. She is the daughter of Gyoergy Valter. Maria first married Paulus "Pal" Halper in 1846 and together they had 2 children; Jozef Halper born 1850 and Cecilia Halper born 1853. Paulus died in 1855. Maria then married Michael Graff in 1857. They had a further 7 children; Maria B: 1859, Theresia 1861-1874, Johanna 1863-1863, Johanna 1864-1865, Aloysia 1866, Antonius 1870-1870 and Ignatious 1871-1872 for a devastating run of infant deaths.
